• Welcome to the Liberal Arts & Sciences Department at the Hialeah Campus of Miami Dade College! The Department of Liberal Arts and Sciences offers students day, evening and weekend classes in traditional face-to-face, blended, or virtual formats. Courses leading to an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree are offered.
  
  The department provides students with a breadth and depth of education in many interrelated areas, enabling students to think broadly and develop connections among many disciplines. Faculty members are dedicated to creating, expanding, applying, preserving knowledge, and introducing students to the scholarship, theories, methods, and perspectives of their diverse disciplines.
