Addison Rifkind – guitar
Addison Rifkind is a Miami-based guitarist and bandleader from Studio City, California, whose style blends blues, soul and bebop with deep grooves and melodic playing. His projects include Fat Produce, The Glades, Soul Vaccinators and the Silver Bluff Blues Band, and he is one of the rotating guitarists for Daptone recording artist Scone Cash Players. Rifkind’s music has been featured on BBC Radio, SiriusXM Phish Radio, WeFunkRadio and NPR affiliates, and his guitar work has appeared in Vintage Guitar, Relix and PureHoney Magazine. His records, including Fresh Squeeze, Soulful Days and The Glades, have been released on FSpot Records and Tiki Tumbao. A regular performer at Miami venues and festivals nationwide, Rifkind is also the jazz guitar instructor at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus.
All concerts are free and open to the public. Live performances will take place at Wolfson Campus Auditorium, 300 N.E. Second Ave., Miami, FL 33132. Building 1, Room 1261. Performances will be livestreamed, except for the student ensembles.
