Rob Wilkerson – alto saxophone

Saxophonist, composer and educator Rob Wilkerson is an Albuquerque native who spent more than two decades in Brooklyn and now lives in Las Vegas. A member of Darcy James Argue’s Grammy-nominated Secret Society and Alan Ferber’s Grammy-nominated Big Band, Wilkerson toured worldwide from 2005 to 2022 as alto saxophonist and flutist with Michael Bublé’s band, appearing on Grammy and Juno Award-winning albums.

He has performed with major orchestras, at jazz festivals around the world and on Broadway as a woodwind doubler for the Tony Award-winning Avenue Q. Wilkerson holds degrees from the University of New Mexico and the University of North Texas, where he played lead alto in the One O’Clock Lab Band. He has taught at universities across the country and is a Selmer Paris Performing Artist and Vandoren Artist.

All concerts are free and open to the public. Live performances will take place at Wolfson Campus Auditorium, 300 N.E. Second Ave., Miami, FL 33132. Building 1, Room 1261. Performances will be livestreamed, except for the student ensembles.
